Bacolod Real Estate Development Corporation (Bredco) Port officer-in-charge Romeo Casela recently provided an update on the new passenger terminal, pointing out, all facilities are currently under development.

“The entire port will be lighted properly, which will be completed [in] January 2019; while the fencing will be completed within this month,” he explained.

He said the additions will help provide security for all port users.

Casela said fastcrafts plying the Bacolod-Iloilo route will soon be transferred to the new facility, while Bacolod-Manila travel is still on its dry run.

The grand opening for the new passenger terminal is set early next year, he added./DGB, WDJ
