The Bacolod City government price monitoring teams are closely observing the city’s three main markets amid the holiday season.
Market Coordinating and Monitoring Task Force head, Executive Assistant Ernie Pineda, yesterday said, during their latest monitoring, the price of primary noche buena items and ingredients were still “normal” and there were no significant price increases.
He said price monitoring units are also checking grocery stores as the Department of Trade Industry already recommended suggested retail prices (SRP).
Pineda added, his office has yet to receive any complaints regarding establishments violating SRP policies on primary commodities./DGB, WDJ
