Pontevedra A, Bata win futsal competition

Pontevedra-A and the Bata Tigers were recently named the champions of the 2018 Dynamic Football League (DFL) 3rd Conference futsal competition.

Pontevedra-A defeated Pontevedra-B in the Born 2004 girls division, 4-3; while Bata Tigers beat St. John’s Institute, 3-1, in the Born 2005 boys division.

In the girls division, Mikyla Robles was named MVP, Chenny Mae Dañoso won Best Striker, Aleah Valdez – Best Goalkeeper, Hannah Marie Montalban – Best Midfielder, and Joce Gembera – Best Defender.

In the boys division, Anthony Galve was named MVP, Fren Pico Jonel won Best Striker, Mark Espartero – Best Goalkeeper, Ismael Parochel – Best Midfielder, and Roel John Bravo – Best Defender./JSG, WDJ
