Negros Occidental Vice Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson confirmed President Rodrigo Duterte made a surprise visit to the province last week.

According to the vice governor, who was in Metro Manila for a Vice Governor’s League meetings, Duterte visited the Yanson family in Talisay City.

Lacson said Duterte’s visits with the Yanson family have become “normal,” especially if he was in the province for another purpose or was in a nearby area.

He added, the Yanson family has an “open invitation” for the president, wherein he can visit anytime.

The president’s most recent visit with the Yanson family is the fifth this year./DGB, WDJ
