Mother replaces son in race for Provincial Board seat

In the race for a Negros Occidental Provincial Board seat representing the fifth congressional district, Dr. Rita Silos Gatuslao recently announced she would be replacing her son Neil Gatuslao on the ballot.

The latter earlier withdrew his candidacy.

In a statement forwarded by candidate for Himamaylan City vice mayor, City Councilor Justin Gatuslao, the elder Gatuslao will run as the official United Negros Alliance candidate.

He added, she is the only female candidate for board member in the district./DGB, WDJ
