A 2.1-magnitude earthquake struck the waters off the coast of Anini-y, Antique last Thursday morning.
According to a Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology bulletin, the tremor struck east of the municipality around 12:22 a.m. The agency reported no damages as a result of the incident, nor were there any anticipated aftershocks.
Earthquakes ranging between 1.0 and 3.0 in magnitude are often classified as a Level 1 on the Mercalli intensity scale, where very few even feel the tremor.
