The Central Negros Electric Cooperative Inc. revealed residential rates for November 2018 have gone up by around 24¢, from P11.6334 per kilowatt-hour (kWh) last month to P11.8761/kWh this month.

General power rate charges, which comprise almost 71 percent of all charges and include generation, transmissions, and system loss costs, went from up P8.3624/kWh last month to P8.5435/kWh this month.

Meanwhile, distribution, supply, and metering costs, along with charges associated with the reinvestment fund, comprised nearly 10 percent of all expenditure.
