Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) and Shell Philippines held a formal contract signing ceremony recently at the Top of the Citi in Makati City.

The ceremony was attended by officials of IPC led by its president, Hajime Koso, and sales division head Joseph Bautista, and by Shell Philippines’ Country Head, Cesar Romero, and General Manager for Retail Lawrence Yam.

Within the duration of the one-year partnership, which officially began on September 1 and lasts up to August 31, 2019, Shell Welcome Kits will be given to all new Isuzu car owners. These welcome kits contain P600 worth of Shell fuel vouchers, and a Shell information booklet.

The IPC-Shell partnership also open up the use of Shell sites for OEM car displays, and shared brand promotional activities in social media and out-of-home advertisements.

Co-branded support will also be manifested in various marketing activities of IPC, such as the Isuzu 4×4 Xtreme Xperience, the Isuzu Eco Run, car club events, and mall tours.

“IPC is extremely delighted to have Shell as our official fuels partner for our numerous official activities we have lined up for next year. We hope that this becomes the start of a long-term partnership with one of the world’s foremost oil companies,” Bautista said.

Romero also remarked, “Hopefully this would be the start of a longer and bigger partnership with IPC, which is undoubtedly the country’s leader in diesel-powered light commercial vehicles and trucks, and aftersales services. Customers of both Isuzu and Shell will find that this partnership directly translates to an even better motoring experience.” (PR)
