Bacolod City sectoral concerns head, Executive Assistant Ernesto Pineda, said the transfer of the 18 flower vendors from Bacolod Public Plaza was peaceful.
“There was no any violent reaction from the vendors when they transferred,” he affirmed.
According to Bacolod Plaza Flower Vendors Association President Glen Amar, the vendors demolished their structures after vacating.
The vendors will be transferred to an area towards the rear of the BAYS Center, which recently underwent a blessing.
Pineda also assured vendors the public would be informed of their new location.
“The flower vendors have nothing to worry about their new site because this is really provided to them by the city, including the structure, free of charge,” he said../DGB, WDJ
