Calatrava boxer retains ABF title

John Michael Zulueta of Calatrava recently defended his Asian Boxing Federation minimumweight title after defeating Mike Kinaadman of Cagayan de Oro City via unanimous decision at the Gaisano City Mall in the “Bakbakan sa Bacolod,” an event of the MassKara Festival, which came to a close over the weekend.

The judges scored the fight 98-92, 98-92, and 96-94.

In other bouts, Paul Varona of La Carlota City beat Rommel Redondo of Murcia, Rodel Sioco of Bacolod City defeated Tomas Ribuset of Murcia, and Jerson dela Cruz of Murcia knocked out Ricky delos Santos of Bacolod City./JSG, WDJ
