By Dominique Gabriel G. Bañaga
Visits to Bacolod City cemeteries are already underway ahead of All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day, which fall on November 1 and on November 2, respectively.
Based on recent price monitoring, flowers sold in front of the Bishop’s Palace range between P200 to P300 per basket; while single flowers can be purchased between P20 and P50.
Cleaning services for tombs at various cemeteries range between P300 to P700, while gravestone makers are offering P500 to P1,000 to replace headstones.
Meanwhile, in a radio report, Burgos Public Cemetery caretaker Ricardo Repogio said they have not received any complaints from visitors yet.
However, he assured they would address any complaints and inquiries they may receive./DGB, WDJ
