A pastor was killed late Tuesday night, while his pregnant wife was seriously wounded, after they were shot at by unidentified gunmen in Guihulngan City, Negros Oriental.

Police identified the fatality as 53-year-old Carlito Bulloron, a resident of the said city; while his wife, who is currently receiving treatment at an undisclosed hospital, was identified as 28-year-old Grace Saknana.

Based on initial investigations by police, the couple was walking home in the city’s Barangay Buenavista when the unidentified gunmen opened fire.

The victims were initially rushed to the city’s district hospital for treatment, where Bulloron was declared dead on arrival after sustaining a gunshot wound to the head.

Police recovered five empty .45 caliber cartridges in the crime scene and one deformed slug.
