Bacolod City Mayor Evelio Leonardia ordered flags at half-mast earlier this week after former Bacolod City Vice Mayor Wilmar Drilon passed away last week. He was 76.

According to the mayor’s order, flags at the Bacolod City Government Center, other city government offices, public schools, and buildings within the city must be flown at half-mast until Friday, October 19.

“Drilon was my first vice mayor,” Leonardia said. “He was the kind who has almost everybody as his friend.”
