Sunday afternoon thunderstorms knocked out power across parts of Negros Occidental.
According to the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines, the Bacolod-San Enrique 69-kilovolt line was tripped after structures toppled in Barangay Taloc, Bago City, causing power outages in the city, along with Valladolid, Pulupandan, and San Enrique.
Meanwhile, the Bago City government confirmed the said structures were the Hilangban Feeders 1 to 4, which fell due to high winds.
In response, repairs were conducted immediately, with power restored around 1:00 p.m. yesterday.
As of press time, however, power is still out in Valladolid./DGB, WDJ
