Tricycle drivers, operators assembly this weekend

The Land Transportation Office-Region VI (LTO-6) will be holding the LTO-R6 Western Visayas Tricycle Drivers and Operators General Assembly on Sunday, October 14, at the Negros Occidental Multi-Purpose Activity Center in Bacolod City.

According to LTO-6 Director Roland Ramos, the assembly will inform tricycle drivers and operators of Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Memorandum Circular 2011-68, which bans tricycle on main thoroughfares.

DILG representatives are also expected to attend the event.

The regional director said he wants feedback from tricycle drivers and operators.

Around 3,000 tricycle drivers and operators are expected for the event./WDJ
