A suspected drug personality was arrested Tuesday afternoon following a buy-bust operation in Barangay Tinampa-an, Cadiz City, Negros Occidental.
Police identified the suspect as 36-year-old Wilmar Atordido, a resident of Don Salvador Heights in the said barangay.
Cadiz City police chief, Police Chief Inspector Rocky Desear, said Atordido is a newly-identified drug personality in the city.
The suspect was nabbed after he handed one sachet of suspected shabu worth P500 to an undercover police officer.
Authorities seized an additional sachet of shabu with an estimated value of P1,500.
Atordido is currently detained at the Cadiz City Police Station./DGB, WDJ
