San Miguel Brewery Inc. recently donated guard towers to the Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) intended for maintaining peace and order during the ongoing MassKara Festival, which formally opened yesterday in Bacolod City.

According to BCPO director, Police Senior Superintendent Francisco Ebreo, the towers will be “strategically installed” at various festival sites, adding, they will provide police with a bird’s eye view.

He noted, once the festival closes, the towers will also be utilized for future events.

The entire celebration is split into three festival sites, the Bacolod Public Plaza, Bacolod Government Center grounds, and Tourism Strip along Lacson Street./WDJ
