USLS, SSA, VMA rule table tennis competition

The University of St. La Salle (USLS), St. Scholastica’s Academy (SSA), and Visayan Maritime Academy (VMA) Global College recently captured titles in the table tennis competition of the 38th Negros Occidental Private Schools Sports, Cultural and Educational Association (NOPSSCEA) season, which took place at the VMA Global College gym.
In elementary events, USLS won the boys’ team event, along with Joaquin Bragancia and Anton Andre Bayona finishing first and second in the boys’ singles events. Meanwhile, SSA won the girls’ team event, with Dianah Aeris Yapiso and Nika Therese Daguia Bayona finishing first and second in the girls’ singles events.
USLS also won the secondary girls’ team competition.
In other secondary competitions, Areanel Theoffer Ariola and Meljohn Valdez of VMA Global College took first and second place in the boys’ singles event, while Micah Tanate and Ayumi Grace Iida of USLS took the same honors on the girls’ side./JSG, WDJ
