90-year-old Gregoria ‘Nene’ Javellana-Tupas of Bago City is still in good health. She has lived just south of Bacolod City and went north to pursue a master’s degree in piano at Philippine Women’s University. She is a very rare personality who would master something without earning anything from it.

Javellana and her husband Inocentes Tupas married at an early age and raised seven children. They had six girls, Griselda, Ma. Therese, Elizabeth, Jinah, Judy Marie, and Bi Anne; and one boy, Gerard. Their mother was fond of making rosaries and the siblings believe she made about million throughout her entire life.

Her life focused around prayer and she always told her family, “Prayer is one that makes her fulfilled.”

Lola Nene recently celebrated a grand birthday bash, attended by friends and relatives.

Reaching 90 years old is something and she still walked strong and firm.

Cheers to you Lola Nene! Greetings from the family!/WDJ
