Property developer Megaworld Corporation yesterday announced they would be constructing a P500 million luxury boutique hotel within its Upper East Township in Bacolod City.

During a press conference, Megaworld-Bacolod Sales and Marketing Vice President Rachelle Peñaflorida said the hotel is part of the P28 billion township project, which will be located near the Bacolod City Government Center.

Peñaflorida said the hotel will feature 48 suites; an all-day dining restaurant; cafe; courtyard; swimming pool and pool deck; fitness center; lanai; and a “Zabana Bar,” Megaworld’s signature hotel bar concept.

The facility is also expected to offer the largest ballroom in the city, which will accommodate over 1,000 people.

The hotel is expected to be completed by 2022./DGB, WDJ
