Organic Solutions, Basecom post wins

Organic Solutions recently defeated JSY Transport, 83-81, while Basecom beat Silver Dragon Transport, 95-83, in the ongoing Fil-Sino All Asian Countertrade, Inc. (AACI) Inter-Company Basketball Tournament game at the St. John’s Institute Msgr. John Liu Activity Center. The tournament previously held games at the Bacolod Tay Tung High School Po Hang gym.

JSY Transport took a 49-42 lead at the half; however, Organic Solutions pulled ahead and went into the final period up 66-63. Despite a last ditch rally, seven straight points from Dante Ma kept Organic Solutions ahead.

Kendrick Deloria led the victory with 18 points, followed by Ma scoring 14 and Lito Dumdum adding 10.

Despite the loss, Shinley Uy managed to score 20 points for JSY Transport, alongside Jappy Cuaycong adding 18.

In the other game, Ruel Bahian led Basecom with a massive 39 points, followed by Jeff Maningo scoring 24 and Jolly Castillo adding 20.

Meanwhile, Marc Jalapa also contributed heavily to Silver Dragon Transport’s effort, notching 41 points./JSG, WDJ
