American national dies from stroke while biking in Granada

An American citizen was declared dead at a hospital in Bacolod City yesterday morning after he reportedly suffered a stroke while biking in front of the Emiliano Lizares National High School in the city’s Barangay Granada.

Authorities identified the fatality as 72-year-old David Crear, a resident of Kamunsil Street in Barangay Villamonte of the said city.

Based on eyewitness accounts, around 8:00 a.m., Crear was spotted passing in front of the school. He then reportedly fell from his bike, prompting residents to approach the victim.

When they realized the victim was suffering a stroke, they immediately rushed him to Bacolod Adventist Medical Center.

However, Crear was declared dead on arrival by the on-duty physician./DGB, WDJ
