Two teenagers were arrested by Isabela municipal police late Thursday night after they allegedly stole a parked motorcycle along Regalado Street in Barangay 6, Isabela, Negros Occidental.

Police identified the victim as 26-year-old Jimuel Flores, Jr., a resident of the said area.

Isabela police said 18-year-old Leomar Visca and a 17-year-old minor, whom they have requested to not be named, allegedly stole Flores’ motorcycle, which was parked outside his residence.

A chase ensued between thieves and Flores, along with several of his neighbors.

Upon reaching Yulo Street, in the town’s Barangay 1, the suspects dismounted and ran into the town’s Municipal Rural Health Center.

The suspects, however, were cornered and police soon arrived to make the arrests.

Visca could face carnapping charges and is detained at the Isabela Municipal Police Station.

The 17-year-old minor, meanwhile, was handed over to the town’s social welfare office./DGB, WDJ
