The team manager for the La Consolacion College-Bacolod basketball team said they are ready for the upcoming Negros Occidental Private Schools Sports, Cultural and Educational Association (NOPSSCEA) meet, now in its 38th season, which is scheduled to open next week.

Team manager, Arch. Armando Guevarra, said the team is “more competitive.”

“We started our team build up last summer,” he said. “We also [had] an exposure game in Cebu, where the team finished runner-up to Ateneo de Cebu.”

Guevarra added, the team gained “a lot of experience” after competing in the Negros Basketball Association President’s Cup./JSG,  WDJ
