The Megaworld Corporation will be launching their club access card tomorrow, August 7, which offers membership privileges, including free accommodations for 50 nights, unlimited food and beverages, among other discounts. Members can use the card at any Megaworld hotel across the country, including the Richmonde Hotel Iloilo, where the unveiling will take place.

Plans are in place to establish a floating hotel at the Islas de Gigantes, located within the jurisdiction of Carles, Iloilo. The hotel will cater to travelers and adventurists who wish to experience the different islands. The project will reportedly use boats to shuttle guests around, with restaurants and attractions also expected to be built in the area. The investor behind the project will soon detail their plans.

With Boracay set to reopen next month, the Department of Tourism and the Department of the Interior and Local Government will restrict smoking drinking along the island’s shores – there will be control this time. Everybody hopes government officials will no longer tolerate such abuses.

Island residents point to local officials as the reason why the island became a “cesspool.”
