BTTHS cleans up in track and field

The Bacolod Tay Tung High School (BTTHS) elementary girls’ track and field team recently came out big winners after picking up 11 gold, one silver, and five bronze medals at the Milo Little Olympics, which took place in Cebu City.
Shalthea Delotavo, named ‘most valuable player,’ won four gold medals; April Anne Dealagdon and Ana Francessca Hermosura each earned two; and Jade Polite Cordva took home three.
Delotavo earned the team’s sole silver medal; while Cordva won one bronze medal as Dealagdon and Hermosura each earned two.
Antonette Jay Aguillon earned three gold medals for the secondary girls’ team, while Ara Rahbae Delotavo and Krisha Aguillon each picked up two, and Stephany Rey Malate won one.
Krisha Aguillon also picked up two silver medals, while Delotavo won one.
Antonette Jay Aguillon also earned a bronze.
In girls’ volleyball, BTTHS won back-to-back titles after beating University of San Jose–Recoletos, 25-23, 25-16, 21-25 and 25-23./JSG, WDJ
