Briones speaks at school building inauguration in Bayawan City

Department of Education (DepEd) Secretary Leonor Briones spoke during the recent inauguration and turnover of a building at Bayawan National High School in Bayawan City, Negros Oriental.

According to the department, the secretary said it is “essential” to develop students to be “critical problem solvers.” She also encouraged those gathered to have ambition when it comes to obtaining an education.

The building is intended for senior high school students.

Last month, Bacolod City Mayor and lone district Rep. Greg Gasataya led an inauguration of two buildings at Bacolod City National High School./WDJ
