Two individuals were arrested following a Bacolod City Police Office City Drug Enforcement Unit (BCPO-CDEU) drug bust last Wednesday at Purok Gonzaga in Barangay Taculing, Bacolod City.

BCPO spokesperson, Police Chief Inspector Sherlock Gabana, identified the suspects as 39-year-old Rogel Cabayaran and 35-year-old Jaime Garde, both residents of the said area.

Gabana said they confiscated a total of five elongated and four big sachets of suspected shabu, the P1,000 in marked money, and one purple pouch.

The seized items are valued at P240,000.

Both suspects face charges in violation of Sections 5 and 11 of RA 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./DGB, WDJ
