A newly-identified drug suspect was arrested by Police Station 4 (PS4) following a buy-bust operation yesterday morning at Purok Cheriza 2, Barangay 27, Bacolod City.

Police identified the suspect as Joel Juele Fuentes, a resident of the said area.

PS4 anti-drug operatives arrested Fuentes after he allegedly sold one elongated sachet of suspected shabu in exchange for P500.

A search of the suspect and his residence yielded nine small sachets of suspected shabu and a coin purse.

Police estimate the market value of the illicit substance at P25,000.

Fuentes currently faces illegal drug charges and is detained at PS4./DGB, WDJ
