Toboso-born Merlito ‘Tiger’ Sabillo and Jay-r Raquinel of Cauayan will be fighting for the World Boxing Council (WBC) silver light flyweight and WBC silver flyweight titles, respectively, next month in China.

Sabillo, who is coming off a split decision loss earlier this year to Edward Heno in their Oriental and Pacific Boxing Federation (OPBF) light flyweight title fight, will be taking on Chinese boxer Jing Xiang on September 15 in Qinzhou.

Meanwhile, reigning OPBF flyweight titleholder Raquinel will meet Chinese boxer Wulan Tuolehazi on September 28 in Changsha./JSG, WDJ
