A man accused of causing a disturbance in Barangay Payao, Binalbagan was recently arrested after allegedly brandishing a firearm.
Police identified the suspect as 46-year-old Morito Pabillar, a resident of Barangay Cansalungon in Isabela, Negros Occidental.
Binalbagan municipal police said they responded after concerned citizens claimed Pabillar was causing a disturbance in the area. When cops arrived, they reportedly saw Pabillar holding a .38 caliber revolver, prompting them to make the arrest.
Cops recovered the firearm, along with five rounds of .38 caliber bullets.
Pabillar was also unable to produce pertinent documents or permits when questioned by police.
