Negros First out of contention

The Negros First Softball Team, representing the Asia-Pacific region, is out of contention at the 2018 Little League Softball World Series in Portland, Oregon in the United States, after losing 2-1 to Tunkhannock Little League of Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania, representing the East region.

The Negrense squad looks to replicate the fifth place finished they earned last year.

They next play a consolation game against Daniel Boone Little League of Gray, Tennessee, which represents the Southeast region./JSG, WDJ
