The Negros First Softball Team, representing the Asia-Pacific region, broke their three-game losing streak and earned their first victory in the ongoing 2018 Little League Softball World Series in Portland, Oregon in the United States.

The Negrense squad beat Cuauhtemoc Little League of Monterrey, Mexico, representing the Latin America region, 2-0, off runs by Kenchie Tan and Anna Leah Dolorfino./JSG, WDJ
