KMH reclaims title

 

Top seed Kami Mga Hubin (KMH) First Standard Finance reclaimed the title in Group A after defeating Negros Professional Bowlers Club, 350-339, in the finals of the recently-concluded 19th BCBC Open Trios Duckpin Bowling League 2018 at Negros Super Lanes in Bacolod City.

KMH First Standard Finance rated duckpinners Mike Corral and Essho Garcia both scored 126 pin falls. Raymund Galvan added 98 to outplay NPBC trios of Hernan Garciniego who led his team with 123 while his teammates Willy Mahilum rolled 117 and Otoy Jardio with 99.

Also joining the champion team were Toto Flores, Pritz Posadas and Katoy Deocadiz.

The Steve Po-managed NPBC earned the right to challenge the eventual champions by beating BCY La Filipina of Bobby Yap, 322-311.

In group B, Yap’s second team BCY 2 led by Edgar de Leon pulled of a close win against ASSFBI Solid Strikers, 323-317, while Davies 1 ended up as second runner-up.

On the other hand, ASSFBI Ladies led by Sylvia del Rosario captured the distaff crown with a convincing victory against RJ Star of Rowena Juarez, 316-290.

Donning the champion team were Lea Javier, Tess Robles, Cheryl Ramos, and Juliet Regollo.

The duckpin event was organized by BCBC headed by Edgar Jerez./JSG, WDJ
