Negros First loses last game

The Negros First Softball Team closed their 2018 Junior League Softball World Series in Kirkland, Washington in the United States with a 3-2 loss to Keystone/West Tampa/Bayshore Little League of Tampa, Florida, who represented the Southeast region.

Earlier in the competition, the Negrense team lost to the team from Florida in their opener.

Snow Canyon Little League from Santa Clara, Utah, representing the West region, won the championship after beating the representative for the Southwest region, Smithville Little League of Smithville, Texas.

Another Negros Occidental softball team will be competing in the Little League Softball World Series in Portland, Oregon, also in the US, set to take place from August 8 to 15./JSG, WDJ
