A suspected drug personality was arrested late Wednesday evening following a buy-bust operation at Sitio Dacutan Dacu in Barangay Mambulac, Silay City, Negros Occidental.

Police identified the suspect as 36-year-old Marlon Laguda, a resident of the said area.

Silay City police chief, Police Superintendent Noel Polines, said they arrested Laguda after he handed one sachet of suspected shabu to a police poseur buyer.

A search of the suspect yielded P60,000 worth of suspected shabu.

Laguda is detained at the Silay City Police Station on drug-related charges./DGB, WDJ
