Police Station 2 (PS2) investigators have identified the pedicab operator who was found dead last Friday at the reclamation area, part of Barangay 8 in Bacolod City.

After the pedicab operator’s cousin visited PS2, cops identified the victim as 42-year-old John Solomon, a resident of Barangay 16.

In a radio interview with the cousin, who has requested anonymity, he said Solomon was originally from Barangay Blumentritt, Murcia and had moved to Bacolod City to make a living operating a pedicab and roaming the city selling “ibos.”

Investigators, however, have yet to determine the motive behind Solomon’s shooting.

Solomon’s remains were found last Friday by a roving security guard.
