Negrense athletes take bronze in gymnastics, badminton

Negrense athletes earned bronze medals at the ongoing ASEAN School Games in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Gymnast Althea Descutido of Trinity Christian School won bronze in rhythmic gymnastics, while Yllana Tan and Mia Manguilimotan of St. John’s Institute won their bronze medal match in badminton.

Meanwhile, the Philippines U18 girls’ basketball team won their earlier game against Malaysia, 80-58, where Karl Ann Pingol of Iloilo City scored 21 points./JSG, WDJ
