Philippines clobbers Indonesia in U18 girls’ basketball

The Philippines U18 girls’ basketball team recently destroyed Indonesia, 91-44, in the ongoing ASEAN School Games at the House of champion court, located in the Gem In Mall Cyberjaya in Selangor, Malaysia.

Kent Jane Pastrana of Doña Montserrat Lopez Memorial High School in Silay City led the win with 25 points, while Karl Ann Pingol of Iloilo City scored 14 points.

“We prepared for two months for this tournament,” said assistant Coach Denden Velez.

The Philippines faces Malaysia today at 10:00 a.m./JSG, WDJ
