Pontevedra Municipal Police Station and Kabankalan City Police Station operatives recovered a stolen motorcycle last Thursday afternoon after tracing it to Barangay Tabugon in Kabankalan City.
Police identified the owner of the motorcycle as 34-year-old Librado Credo, a resident of Barangay Recreo, Pontevedra.
Pontevedra municipal police said Credo’s motorcycle was stolen from his home last Monday.
A few days later, cops spotted the motorcycle in Barangay Tabugon, with Jomar Ulay in possession of the vehicle.
When police officers questioned Ulay, he claimed it was sold to him by 23-year-old Bryan Andaya, a resident of Barangay Carmen, Himamaylan City.
Ulay said he did not know the motorcycle was stolen.
Police are also currently looking for Andaya, who faces carnapping charges./DGB, WDJ
