Panaad to host matches in November

The AFF Suzuki Cup 2018, scheduled to run from November 8 to December 15, will hold two group stage matches at the Panaad Park and Stadium. The Philippine men’s national football team, the Azkals, will play at the Bacolod City venue on November 13, when they meet Singapore; and again on November 21, when they face defending champions Thailand.

Alongside Singapore and Thailand, the Philippines is drawn in Group B with Indonesia and the winner of the qualifier between Timor-Leste and Brunei.

The prior AFF Suzuki Cup, in 2016, was co-hosted by the Philippines and Myanmar. The Azkals were eliminated after the group stage./JSG, WDJ
