Silay City traffic enforcer, two others nabbed in drug bust

Three suspected drug personalities, including a traffic enforcer, were arrested in a buy-bust operation Tuesday afternoon at Antonio Luna Interior in Barangay Mambulac, Silay City.

Police identified the suspects as 46-year-old Rodulp Dolce, a resident of the said area; alongside 41-year-old Orlando Tahum and 50-year-old traffic enforcer Arnel Canag.

Silay City police chief, Police Superintendent Noel Polines, said they recovered one sachet of suspected shabu from Dolce and the P500 buy-bust money.

Tahum yielded three sachets of suspected shabu and drug paraphernalia; while Canag yielded two sachets of suspected shabu, drug paraphernalia, a mobile phone, and a .38 caliber revolver with four bullets in the chamber.

All three are facing illegal drugs charges, while Canag faces an additional charge of illegal possession of firearms and ammunition./DGB, WDJ
