Two motorcyclists and a passenger were injured following a Tuesday night collision along the national highway in Barangay Manalad, Ilog, Negros Occidental.

Police identified the victims as Jessie Suguillon and Ireneo Villasan of Cauayan, Negros Occidental, along with Ched Maquiling of Ilog.

Ilog Municipal Police Station traffic investigators said Suguillon failed to notice Maquiling’s motorcycle upon reaching Crossing Manalad, resulting in their motorcycles colliding head-on.

All three victims were rushed to the Lorenzo Zayco District Hospital in Kabankalan City.

Police said the motorcyclists blamed the incident on a lack of lighting in the area, along with several vehicles parked in the vicinity./DGB, WDJ
