Nicor-Mangilimutan: They may be politically-motivated

La Castellana Mayor Rhumyla Nicor-Mangilimutan recently revealed in a radio interview that she has been receiving death threats through text messages.
The messages claim she is on a list of alleged drug protectors, which she vehemently denied.
The threats also called her the “third” on a list of “narco-officials,” following Mayor Antonio Halili of Tanauan City, Batangas and Mayor Ferdinand Bote of General Tinio, Nueva Ecija.
Nicor-Mangilimutan said she had an idea of who is sending the threats and believes they may be linked to next year’s midterm elections.
Earlier this year, the mayor filed administrative and criminal charges against former Moises Padilla police chief, Police Senior Inspector Alan Reloj, after he linked her brother, La Castellana Town Councilor Alberto ‘White’ Nicor III, to illegal drugs last September./DGB, WDJ
