Last month’s Festive Walk Mall opening in Iloilo City offered a festive feel. The P2.2 billion Megaworld Corporation lifestyle mall is the first of its kind in the Visayas and Mindanao.
The structure is home to state-of-the-art VIP cinemas with free butler service, unlimited drinks and popcorn, reclining seats, and adjustable footrests. The mall is also connected via air-conditioned sky bridge to an annex that houses medical and wellness clinics, along with government offices, including the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation, Bureau of Immigration, and Land Transportation Office.
It is also Iloilo City’s first pet-friendly mall, with both a dog park and the Barking Café, which caters specifically to pet owners and their pets.
Considered Iloilo’s “most beautiful mall,” it is something worth enjoying in the city.
“We are pioneering the lifestyle mall concept in Western Visayas,” said Megaworld Corporation Senior Vice President Kevin L. Tan said. “What we are bringing to Iloilo are things that every Ilonggo will be proud of.”
This new mall is an experience and will be a shopping destination.
Kudos to Tan and his PR team, headed by Senior Assistant Vice President Harold Geronimo, for making the city a lifestyle of its own./WDJ
