The Bacolod City Public Employment Services Office (PESO) yesterday revealed pay for the estimated 1,600 summer workers will be released next week.
PESO officer-in-charge, Manager Ma. Rebecca Balicas, said they are currently preparing the payments, which should be available with the city cashier by Monday or Tuesday.
She explained there were no delays in payment, explaining, their office had to review time sheets in order to ensure accurate payment calculations.
In order to collect payment, summer employees must present valid identification and a community tax certificate, or cédula, to the PESO office in order to receive a slip to present to the cashier.
Summer workers each receive P3,000 based on their daily time records./DGB, WDJ
