A recently-arrested drug suspect filed affidavits and submitted a video claiming to have dealings with an official from La Castellana, Negros Occidental.

Based on the information provided by a certain Sammy Nuarbe to Watchmen Daily Journal, the suspect, identified as 38-year-old Rodel Llupar of Purok Cagaycay, Barangay 2, Bacolod City, was arrested last May by Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency agents in Barangay Don Jeorge Araneta, Bago City for the possession and sale of illegal drugs.

According to the video, which shows Llupar being interviewed, he claims he dealt illegal drugs for six months with a town official from La Castellana.

He said it began around January of this year, with the official introducing his friend, a certain ‘Sherwin,’ wherein a meeting took place involving the negotiation and transportation of illegal drugs.

The suspect also said the town official assured him he would not be bothered while operating in La Castellana.

Aside from La Castellana, Llupar also claimed he transports illegal drugs to a rest house located near a solar power plant in La Carlota City and a hacienda located in Barangay Antipolo, Pontevedra.

He also admitted to delivering drugs at a meetup point located at the Capitol Park and Lagoon in Bacolod City.

Llupar explained deals were made around every three days and done through vehicle-to-vehicle transfers.

Due to the sensitivity of the allegations, Watchmen Daily Journal has decided not to reveal the identity of the town official pending their response to the accusations./DGB, WDJ
