Competition opens on July 28 across Negros Occidental

According to Negros Occidental Football Association (NOFA) General Secretary Roland Allan Treyes, the upcoming 2018 Dynamic Football League (DFL) 2nd Conference, which begins on July 28, will be divided into three divisions, spanning the entirety of Negros Occidental.

He said the system was implemented in order to bring the sport “closer to the people.”

“Participants will spend less in traveling to [the Sta. Maria Field in Talisay City] every weekend to play,” the NOFA official explained.

He outlined the three divisions as North Negros, which covers Victorias City to San Carlos City; Central Negros, which covers EB Magalona to Bacolod City; and South Negros, which covers Bago City to Kabankalan City.

The competition will also be divided into various categories including Born 2010 Mix, Born 2008 Mix, Born 2006 Boys, and Born 2001 Girls./JSG, WDJ
