Task Force Kasanag (TFK) will be marking its ninth anniversary tomorrow in Roxas City, where Special Assistant to the President Christopher Lawrence ‘Bong’ Go and Presidential adviser on political affairs and former Metropolitan Manila Development Authority head Francis Tolentino are expected to attend.
TFK National Commander John Chiong said the organization has around 3,000 members, pointing out, “Officers from 10 regions have confirmed their attendance.”
He said the celebration will kick off with a short program with speakers representing different sectors. The event will then host an open forum and culminate with a memorandum of agreement signing to reaffirm commitments to being a draft and corruption watchdog.
Chiong said TFK will continue to collaborate with other sectors in their ongoing campaign towards good governance.
He added, the group will also pursue a campaign for peace in the countryside.
Meanwhile, Chiong confirmed TFK earlier entered into a memorandum of understanding with Volunteer Against Crime and Corruption founding chairman and Presidential Anti-Corruption Commission chair Dante Jimenez./DGB, WDJ
