With the Bacolod City government’s ongoing school bag distribution throughout the city, six more schools are expected to benefit from the program with three events scheduled today, July 2.

The program kicked off last week with distribution events at the Banago Elementary School I gym and Bata Elementary School I gym.

The backpacks, which each contain two notebooks, two pencils, two pens, and a ruler, are intended for students between Grades 1 and 6.

The program expects to distribute a total of 68,000 bags./WDJ
